A Sharper Brand Portal

A Sharper Brand Portal

Wholesale buyers aren't just browsing like regular customers, they are working on a schedule. They commit real budget, juggle delivery windows, compare variants, and they often do it under time pressure. The B2B portal shapes how the season goes for everyone: your buyers, your reps & your support team.

Over the past months, we've been listening to the people who actually use the Brand Portal every day: sales reps, retailers & wholesale teams. This post walks through the first wave of changes we’ve made, and why we think a great B2B platform is worth every hour we put into it.

A well-designed B2B portal isn't just a nice-to-have. When it works:

  • Buyers order more confidently, resulting in fewer abandoned drafts and better orders.
  • Sales reps spend their time selling. Every minute off admin is a minute back with a customer.
  • Brands scale without scaling support. Retailers self-serve, relieving pressure from other teams.
  • The brand stays consistent. With a portal adapted to your look & feel, your brand never suffers.

Every change below pushes us a little closer to that bar.

1. Mobile order grid, properly built

The mobile order grid was reworked from the layout up. SKU rows are easier to scan, quantities easier to enter, and the whole flow now feels right on a smaller canvas. That matters for reps moving between appointments, buyers checking from a showroom floor, or anyone reviewing a draft after hours.

2. Order grid: no more lost progress

The top complaint we heard. Switching colourways on the PDP order grid used to wipe out unsaved quantities, mid-session, no warning. We removed the disruptive confirmation modal. You can switch variants now and keep what you've entered.

3. Language switcher, where you'd expect it

Small change, real impact. The language selector used to live in the side menu. It now sits in the main navigation slider, front and centre, so switching takes one tap instead of a menu hunt. More visible, faster to use, easier to configure your experience for different markets.

4. Settings, redesigned

The entire settings area was redone. Account Settings is now its own thing, separated from Profile, with a dedicated menu button. Less clutter, faster to find what you need, and an architecture that maps to how brands actually use the portal day to day.

5. Order Management Settings shortcut

A new shortcut opens the specific setting tied to the page you're on. If you're on an order management page and you need to adjust how it behaves, you click once and you're there. No menu hunting, no clicking through three submenus to find the right panel.

What's Next

This is the first wave, not the last. We're continuing to improve the Brand Portal through 2026: order flow, buyer experience, and the configurability brands need when managing dozens of markets at once. If something on the portal is slowing your team down, we want to hear it. It pleases us to be receiving great feedback so far:

"The colourway issue alone was holding up our reps during appointments. Since the fix, they're faster in sessions and we're seeing fewer incomplete drafts coming through."— Sales Manager, Lingerie Brand
